Kristína Miklovičová is a performer and actress. In her work, she uses primarily movement gesture, forming into asymmetrical positions, as well as speech and voice as complementary aspects of self-expression. She studied acting at the Bratislava Conservatory and Dance Theatre and Performance and Modern Dance at the Academy of Performing Arts in Bratislava. She is currently an actress at the Féder teáter, where she performs in three shows. In her latest dance solo, Circles of the End, she uses original poetry that maps the impressions of a partner relationship. She has also presented her original work at dance festivals and shows (NuDance fest, Kiosk, Interspace, ArtMoves). In her latest original solo, Circles of the End, she uses the poetry of the body embodied by the movement of the text and memories that are brought from the paper into the space. She has used original poetry that dates and maps the impressions of a partner's relationship and break-up. The performer takes inspiration from the rhythm and content of the lyrics to create movement material that layers meaning alongside the sounding music. Musician and producer NaiKavols also collaborated on the project. She is currently the head of the Literary and Drama Department at the Istrijská Elementary School in Devínská Nová Ves.
