The output of the creative scholarship entitled Release and Discover connects contemporary dance, the beauty of tennis and the magical world of coaching aimed at self-development.
The dancer gets lost and lets himself appear. His body is a beautiful map on which the choreographer searches for inspiration and where he creates movement. His body must be fit, he must be malleable. His personality is a crumpled piece of paper.
The starting point for Time out burn out was the effort to stop and explore where I can go on the move, and whether I still know where I'm going and why. The work was created as a result of an increasingly frequent state of total exhaustion, demotivation, overload. Chronic to borderline self-use in artistic creation with the aim of squeezing out for the needs of performative performance.
I was based on my own contradictory internal states, which, like a tennis ball, I throw between two extremes: absolute obsession with performance, opinion of the environment and supposed, built reputation, and on the other hand playful gambling with everything I have all my life with full commitment. devoted. Need to stop the game. The need to move, just so, functionally. Be simple, understandable.
My main effort was to connect conflicting experiences. This was followed by an inner emptiness, a paralysis towards the dance movement, the need to move further in inner fear and anxiety in decision-making with each simple and functional stroke. This match does not have a specified number of games, sometimes the rules do not apply, but in the end there could be an acceptance. Paralysis and release.
