Neskorý zber organises another workshop within the series named Body in Dance Technique II: Merce Cunningham Technique and experience anatomy.
Workshop focuses on the possibilities of using a somatic approach towards motion within the education of codified dance techniques, this time the Merce Cunningham Technique. It also uses the physical and physiological phenomena explored through one's own physical experience, creative exploration, improvisation, and creativity.
Performers, dance teachers, and dancers who already have some experience with the above mentioned techniques are very welcome to the workshop. The pedagogic team offers quality and inspriational lessons of dance technique, experience of motion exploration of the anatomy itself and stimulating conversations.
Programme:
Merce Cunninghama Technique taught by Radek Mačák, who worked in Merce Cunningham Dance Studio and Understudy Dance Company.
Experience anatomy - somatic work will be led by Anna Sedlačková, a certified BMC Practitioner and teacher at the Dance Department of the Academy of Performing Arts.
